We sure have been busy learning!

At Seabury, it's very common to see students reading, conducting science experiments, taking surveys and coming up with brilliant ideas for new projects
during recess. Here you see one of our Navigators devouring Harry Potter 4. Great choice!

Here we are in our native backyard garden, collecting specimens for science class!

We had some Halloween fun creating spiders and webs for our classroom!

Our classroom is now home to baby slugs AND baby spiders - a third grader's paradise! The are great for observing, writing about, classifying and studying life cycles. Some Navigators have even named their new little friends.

We had a terrific visitor from the Tacoma Zoo come and talk to the Navigators and the Beacons. We learned more about classifying vertebrates and invertebrates. She brought in awesome artifacts with her and a special friend. Ask your Navigator about the special friend - who had a blue tongue!
