Writer's Workshop is off to a great start! We're filling our notebooks with ideas for future stories and we are beginning to explore organizing our stories with interesting introductions. On Friday, you may have seen the Navigators sneaking around the school like spies, exercising our five senses. You never know where inspiration for a good story will come from! We love math games! Why do worksheets all the time when we can use base ten blocks, playing cards, dice and small white boards to order numbers, compare values, practice place value and even the always-tricky rounding?
