On Friday, we worked with the Explorers and Ms. Head on some garden projects. Many students worked hard on this area of the grounds to clear rocks and weeds away to make room for strawberry plants!
At gathering this week, Mrs. Wollum recognized the Destination Imagination teams that are moving on to the state competition. Congratulations D. I. teams! An ENORMOUS "THANK YOU" to the parent volunteers and D.I. leaders, Amol, Tina, Sam, Tasneem and Michelle!

We have been learning about famous inventors/scientists, including Marie Curie, Albert Einstein and Thomas Edison. We took some time this week to write and sketch about our own future inventions.
We are also studying inventions in science class. Here we are experimenting with electrical currents, conductors and insulators. Ask your child if she or he remembers the difference between a parallel circuit and a series circuit.
